Medizin Aktuell: However, first of all, you reported on the beginnings of Medical Resonance Therapy Music
® about your invitation from
Prof Rosch to the international congresses of the
American Institute of Stress, and how everything had developed.
Peter Hübner: Yes, this whole aspect is described quite well in a special report by me, and was also published by you in Medizin Aktuell.
Medizin Aktuell: Yes, but that was not the sensational
part of your lecture – what moved the listeners, was in the field of health, the way the
archetypal
classical composer sees the significance of the soul for medicine. And this aspect is what interests
us most today in our interview.
Peter Hübner: At this conference, scientists and researchers from various scientific faculties – medicine, biology, physics, psychology, sociology, theology, research into consciousness – unanimously endeavoured to achieve a holistic view of life: under the aspect of successfully coping with stress.
Prof Paul Rosch, the president of the
American Institute of Stress, had quite obviously managed to bring only top-flight researchers with these issues from the whole world to the congress.
And so I began with my thesis: that from my point of view, the
soul is the only holistic element of our existence, and that we must therefore
concentrate on the soul if we want to help a person
holistically whether that is convenient for us or not.
That is how I expressed my personal conviction in my talk.
Medizin Aktuell: Herr Hübner, the role that you give the
soul with regard to health is an absolute novelty in scientific medicine.
Peter Hübner: Many great thinkers in history have attached great importance to the
soul’s health for our body’s health – by saying at least: “If you want to be physically healthy, then make sure your soul is well!”
I do not think I need mention any names here, because we are talking without doubt about practically
all great thinkers in human history.
Medizin Aktuell: But our modern scientific medicine the medicine of our scientifically moulded, technological age, the medicine of the so-called modern civilised world – does not take the soul into account, at least not officially, for our health; and up to now, it definitely does not consider the soul an organ, which could be activated for maintaining health with scientific devices.
